About myself and my rig:
Well i live in Cornwall (the land that time forgot
), and about a year ago i decided to build my first computer - i've become somewhat of an addict ever since.
My first build was a Phenom 955, HyperX 4gb and a Gigabyte 460 - which i later updated to a Phantom 570.
More recently i sold my first rig to fund my new project - a 2600K, Vengeance 8gb, Vertex 2 120gb (i also bought a Corsair Force Series 3 85K IOPS 120gb SSD just yesterday
) and a Palit 560 2gb (i intend to go SLI when i get paid next).
Ultimately my goal is to hit 5+ghz on my processor (HT-Enabled) and 1+ghz on each of my cards and to fill ALL the sata ports on my motherboard just for the sake of it.
I intend to modify my GPU coolers by replacing the 80mm fans with 92mm fans and adding memory/mosfet cooling. I'll also be sticking backplates on them. I'll be modding/lapping my H50 and lapping my chip at some point in the near future too. I hope to take lots of pictures and maybe even make a build log.
Big believer in the Matx form factor due to having a P180-Mini case (the best case in the world
) and don't intend to go regular atx anytime soon.
