I just bought a i5 2500 instead of a 2500k accidently XD. Anyway so i decided not to return it and not overclock, however, I was wondering if there will be anymore 1155 processor coming out in the future? As in 2700k or so on.

I will be glad for any contribution, thx in advance.

I'm sure there will be, however you can return it under Distance Selling Regulations within 7 days, doesnt matter that you bought wrong one by mistake and theres nothing wrong with it, youre still eligible under DSR

You can't overclock a non-K series chip

i know i can't overclock, but since it is my first build then i think that it will suffice for a year or two. I'm not sure if i can return it because i bought it from amazon and i kinda damaged the box

Still need ram, mobo, psu, gpu which i will invest in within the next two months.
