Hi there , I understand there will be many people faced with the same problems but any advice would be really appreciated, looking at the possibility of pursuing a career in the oil industry , I have a few friends who reckon they could help with the initial kick in once I get my survival and any other courses completed (I understand it doesn't guarantee anything).
The advice am looking for is what courses would anyone recommend personally? Any advice would be really good as am thinking of the ropes dovetailed with the painting and sandblasting though previous advice people have said its sessional and you could be layed off during the winter months which isn't ideal with a young family!
Some background on myself , I am a time served Joiner who 5 year ago decided on a career change and now find myself working in the care sector working with young people, things not great at work due to redundancies etc so I have been looking at my options , am 35 pretty fit having played football and regular attempt to hit a golf ball lol, thanks again for any info!!![Wink ;) ;)](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/wink.gif)
