Hi, after I installed 8800GTX, I notice longer load time when loading windows. And things seems to respond slower, any idea?
 
Not at all mate, my previous card was a nvidia one.

And another weird thing is, after the screen where it shows u the logo for your mobo and loading into the windows loading screen, the bottom half of my screen will flicker for 1 second giving off weird greenish lines across the monitor. any idea?
 
When the screen flickers and such..is this before or after Windows has kicked in?

Also have you tried uninstalling the Nvidia software and installing the latest stable drivers?
 
It was before windows has kicked in. And yes I am using 97.02, the last known stable driver for this series card. Any idea?
 
If its before Windows kicks in at all and your getting graphical issues then I suspect you've got a dodgy card. Out of interest, if you put your old card back in..do these problems disappear?
 
I just played Dark messiah of Might and magic, ran great, im testing if i still have problems with bf2142 etc. If yes, I will rma it asap.
