Just installed a HID kit and i didnt realise they dont have a hight beam!

So i take it the HID bulb only has one filiment in (only two wire going to bulb h4)..

What can i do about that? just do without? or is there a way i can get it back?

Cheers

Arg.. i will try and send it back but i dont think they will let me becuase ive used them.. worth a try i suppose

What could i say is the problem with them? apart from my mistake!

We might of done but i was tired.... Gutted!

Do the bulbs fit with the solenoid? they look very long and the offside is very tight!

Where did you get your kit from them?

Well i havnt see a dual filament HID bulb yet but i dont know the reason why they dont make them like that.

I have a Honda 1.8 VTI

The only type ive been seeing is that ones that move the bulb to a diffrent angle for extra brightness... these look much better...

Whats the Honda's headlight set up like?

To be honest, after I retrofitted my HID kit to my Calibra, I have never had the need to use high beam. Dipped HID's are more than adequate, flicking high beam on results in a neglible increase in lighting as far as I am concerned.

This is the very reason that "Bi-Xenon" retro-fit kits are not that common or available. Most owners find that dipped is more than adequate.

Im not saying that they are bad... ive just noticed that they cant flash or use high beam.. only tested them for about 10min so not much driving done..

Might not bother sending them back.. i will see what its like... and if they cost even more than normal ones then im defo not going to bother.
