I was trying to work out why my 50GB Windows 7 partition is nearly full after six months, and it seems there is about 27GB of hidden data on C:\users\julian.
Using Windows Explorer I can see on C:\users a 'Julian' and a 'Public' folder. The 'Public' folder has 56MB of data in it and the 'Julian' folder has 27GB of dater on properties, however when I highlight all the folders within 'Julian' it only comes up with 4MB of data.
Why can't I see the files and folders that make up the 27GB? I know it includes 'AppData' and 'Temp' folders that contain huge amounts of data, as I saw them when I unset the 'Read Only' attribute.
Thanks!
