Hidden Gems on Steam

We all know what AAA games there are on steam and my my that sins of a solar empire rebellion offer looks mighty tasty!

But what about those more obscure games on steam? Yes I'm talking about indie games but perhaps not neccessarily those games that aren't released by a major publisher.

Please list and give some info on some hidden gem you found on steam! As many as you like, just those games you found buried away on steam and thought "more people should know about this".

I found Eschalon Book 1 and Depths of Peril.

Eschalon is a trilogy of classic rpg's for fans of baldurs gate and spiderweb software games.

Trackmania 2 Stadium, perhaps not so much a hidden gem but not as known for just how much a good racing game it is!;

Legend of Grimrock does not count as that is not a hidden gem at all. Its a gem fro sure but defo not hidden.

If you like games that make you think then SpaceChem is definitely worth checking out, got hours and hours from it despite not finishing it as it turned my brain to soup by the end.

Edit: Gives an idea just how complicated you can make this game - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfR-Dv4f15o&noredirect=1 (You don't have to go this extreme in the game but you can!)

Beyond Good and Evil. Not exactly a hidden gem, but been out a while now and never really got the recognition it should have, fantastic game.
