Hidden Icon on desktop.

I'm completely stumped. I right clicked on a desktop icon hit properties and accidently clicked on hide icon. After this I hit ok. Now the icon has disappewared and I cant get it bacck. I cant even go to program files and get the icon form there because only that desktop Icon worked.

open explorer> goto desktop > hit alt and open tools click view > hidden files and folders > show hidden files and folders

browse to the desktop folder, go folder options, view hidden files. You should then be able to see it in explorer, right click and turn off hide file.

Thanks guys I thought I would never be able to retrieve the icon thanks for the help.
