Hide Files

Hi guys, I want to hide video files and pictures on my Mac.. so then the Mrs and the kids dont see lol.. in other words.. a bit of porn!!

any help?

Command line and "dot" files. Or make separate accounts for family. They'll be unable to access anything in your home directory.

honesty indeed, fair play.

although I personally don't use it for pron, Truecrypt is an awesome bit of free software that creates encrypted volumes disguised as actual files of any type, eg you could have a 100mb pdf which is actually a 100mb storage volume for whatever you want... mountable via a password

obviously if you try to open the pdf, acrobat won't know whats going on and kick up an error...

.files = way too risky.
