Hiding away rear camera cable on Nextbase dashcam

Hi all,

I got myself a Nextbase 522GW and hardwired it to the fusebox - tucked the excess wires away by the fuse box and wired it up all nicely along the roof lining.

I've got myself a rear window camera, which comes with a 6.5m wire, and I've run the wire from the dashcam along the side and back of the car to the rear window, and now I've got lots of excess wire left. I can cable tie it and let it hang, or tape it up to the top of the car, but it's not as clean as I'd like it....

Any advice as to how I can tuck it away?

Buy a shorter wire of cut the current wire, should be patchable?

I would just run the wire into the headliner and leave the coiled excess inside the headliner, just above where the camera comes out. Usually the pressure from the headliner will keep it in place but you can always tape it.

I've got the same model and sadly I can't fit all of the wire under the headliner so a tied up bunch hangs by the rear pillar. I don't see it from my seat so it doesn't bother me and I rarely have passengers in my back seat.
