Hiding files and folders - any suggestions?

I've tried Hide Files And Folders and it keeps rebooting my machine.
Anybody know any other good ones?

Encryption would probably be a better solution.

Becuase hiding your folders doesnt protect them at all, if someone finds them they can access them anyway, hiding is kinda pointless when you can use encryption.

This question seems to get asked time and again. The answer is always NTFS security. Right-click your folder->Properties->Security tab. Fiddle with the privileges each user has. Only give _your_ account access.

Never use a third party solution for this. They are all hacks and shouldn't be considered secure in any way.
