For health reasons I'm completely changing my diet which means 80% of it will consist of greens and alkaline foods. The problem is, living off mainly vegetables and chicken, I won't be getting much in the way of calories.

Which foods can I regularly eat to up my calorie intake whilst staying healthy?

Brown rice, Brown pasta, Oats and sweet potatoes. Thats all that comes to mind at the moment, but I'm sure there is loads more.

Fatty fish like Mackerel, Salmon, Herring, etc

Fatty fruit's like Avocado & coconut.

Whole Eggs, no need to limit intake of these apart from cost. Stick to free-range, don't use barn eggs they're crap.

Full-fat unhomogenized milk (Gold Top)

How anything that doesn't contain high ammounts of fat can be classed as high calorie i'm not exactly sure....

Eggs
Fatty Fish
Nuts
Coconut

(All already mentioned)

Brown rice is not high calorie. Brown rice is actually quite filling and given it's a carbohydrate and comes in at only 4kcal per gram it's even less so...

I just meant foods like brown rice are healthy and are a way of padding meals out to increase calories! I understand that brown rice is a carbohydrate and is only 4kcal per gram, but imo he would be better going for a balance between healthy carbs, fats and proteins if he's looking to be healthy!

Better to get 4kcals/gram from brown rice than white bread or sugar ;)

You know what I love? avocado and tuna mixed together, I know it might not sound so great but try it, amazing tbh.

By high calorie, I also meant high fat too. It's just that I've switched to a 90% alkaline diet as I've got ulcerative colitis and I've heard very positive results from switching to a mainly vegetarian diet.

I was just looking for good alternatives to cheap meat/chocolate/crisps as I ideally need to limit these to a minimum.

Nuts, sweet potato and eggs seem like my best bet. Cheers.
