Lovely Wolver-ampton!
Managed to get my 2160 C2D to 3Ghz with the stock pentium cooling, which I'm thrilled with. Temps are 27 idle and mid 50s under load.

However, my RAM timings are 5-6-6-22. Is this ok?

If I drop my chip overclock will this bring my RAM timings down? And what benefit will this have? I'm under the impression that the better the timings the better my overall system speed will be as there will be less bottlenecks? Is this correct?

I would happily lower my chip speed if if meant that timings will be better (if this actually will make any difference. DRAM : FSB ratio is 10:8

Multi 8x
CPU FSB 375

Everest says 87% on FSB and 67% overclock on chip.

Confused!

What mobo and ram have you got ? Theres probably a high chance you can reduce the timings and keep the overclock.

Its set to auto at the moment ?
