High contrast aero theme?

Ello,

Why doesn't Microsoft do high contrast themes for aero? I'm very short sighted and the glare from windows makes text really hard to see so I use a classic high contrast white text on black windows theme. I like the features of aero so I'd love a theme for it but MS never do one. I tried Windowblinds but didn't like it. Anyone know of a theme or if its even possible to change windows background colour in aero without clunky software?

Have you tried the text size adjustment? Control Panel -> Display. Will make the text larger, although not sure if it is compatible with every program.

Thanks but prefer white text on black for reading because of the glare, just wish I could do it in aero.

I read High Contrast to be the DnB DJ. That would be a good theme.

Yeah you can turn off the translucency somehow.

So its not accelerated then, just like its not an aero theme in Win 7?
