High coolant use

I'll have been using a Gigabyte 3D Galaxy kit for 2 years in a fortnights time.

In the last 3 months I've noticed its used as much coolant as it had in the whole of the 20 months previous.

Does this sound normal, or does something sound wrong? I've checked for leaks and found nothing, and there have been no hardware changes in the last 18 months except for a couple of HDD swaps.

It can only be a leak, or if you have left the filler cap off / unsealed, evaporation. On a closed system, there cannot be any loss of coolant. Therefore its escaping somewhere.

similar problem on my mates car, coolant loss, was due to head gasket failure. so check the block to see if its leaking. has got to be a leak somewhere. as mentioned above.

pc parts + water just don;t mix.
