Im running a amd phenom 2 955 quad core cpu, and whilst playing Bc2, my temps rocket up to 59c, sometimes more or sometimes less. Is this something to worry about, cause i read the max temps of the cpu is 62c.

Cheers for any help guys

I should add, it was my first pc build, so i may have missed somet :p

62 is fine I believe. Core temp will read higher then old cpu temp which was measured less accurately.

Ive had coretemp upto mid eighties and its been fine though that was an intel

Sounds okay to me, you should still be quite a way from the automatic shutdown temperature there even if AMD states 62C.
