High CPU temp

Hello forum members,

Is it normal to have temperatures 60+ degrees after starting computer?
For the last couple of years I have been running custom water loop with 360mm rad and the temps were around 35c. But i got tired that every time i wanted to change something I had to purchase new block so I went I bought air cooler to be exact beQuite Rock Rock 3 with 2 fans.
i am running i7 860@4Ghz in Corsaid 800d case with 7 fans.

Does the temps stay at 60c after loading and what temps do you get at full load ? also try a difrent monitoring program like real temp.

Yes still the same reading on real temp. Yes the 60 degrees stays after loading and rises to 68 while playing POE.

60 sounds quite high on start up. id expect it to be between 40-45 depending on the environmental factors.

re-seating the cooler with a higher quality thermal paste could help thermal grizzly is excellent stuff

I will remove the cooler and reapply the paste. I used Arctic MX4 previously.
