Hey folks,
Since Christmas, I've built myself a nice rig around 3x r290s. It's silky smooth in benchmarks and games, but I'm struggling to find a nice mode in battlefield 4 and think it might be down to my mouse
Basically, it's an aging logitech mxlaser x20. A little reading around suggests it's 800dpi. What's happening is that when using the mouse, panning is jerky when looking around and attempting to aim. The FPS is rock solid at 60fps due to vsync but it appears jerky
Earlier, I plugged in a 360 controller, and it becomes such a nicer experience in that it just looks and feels much smoother. A totally different experience.. apart from I can't use pads for shizz in these games
So, given that you can get mice upto 5600dpi now, maybe more, is the way my 800dpi is tracking causing the issue. Would be so much better if my mouse gave movement like the pad does, but before I fork out on one, just thought I'd ask if you think this makes sense. Or is this just how it is based on the way controllers work?
Cheers
