Who make high end cases?

I've not read much but praise about Lian Li.

I currently have a Corsair 540 and want something similar to replace it, but with better build quality (which wouldn't be hard).
 
Phanteks, we've had a few of their range in and all appear to have great quality.

Case labs if you want to spend a fair bit of money.
 
If you have Air 540 and want something similar but high quality, then Lian Li PC-D600 is the obvious choice; same design logic, implemented with more rationale and resources.
 
In Win also... keep an eye out for their upcoming 909 and 805. Very smart looking. Ultimately it depends what you mean by 'high end' though.
 
I wouldn't say any Corsair case falls in to the "high end" category to be honest. Phanteks make great cases, probably some of the best money can buy. If you want a cube style case, your options are limited, but I'd recommend the Cooltek W2... same basic cube style as 540, but better. No optical drives though, if that matters. If you're not married to a cube, look at the Phanteks range, can't go wrong there.

No it's not.

The aforementioned Lian Li PC-D600 does everything the Corsair does, only better, and then some.

This is before even venturing into CaseLabs' offerings and similar "craft" cases.
 
I personally think that Phanteks offer the best range of quality mainstream cases at present. All are well priced, very well made and feature packed. Lian li's, whilst being very nicely made cases, theyre a bit spartan when it comes to internal features. I had an A70F prior to the enthoo primo, whilst being very well made it was awful for cable management. The primo on the other hand is so well thought out, particularly if you are watercooling. For the price you get an awful lot.
 
I agree. Although my case makes these creaking/cracking noise (Luxe) Only thing i can say what it is, is heating expanding. Does your Primo make any sounds like this setter?
 
Only for about 5 minutes after switching the system on. Probably the plastic against the metal. One thing i did like about the lian li a70f, the only plastic parts in it were the fans, fan filters and the cables. All nicely machined and fitted aluminium, extremely light case too. The primo is very heavy even before you put any parts in it.
 
+1 for Lian Li the PC-D600 is not all that big, but can take a loads of parts.

All Alloy........ no tin or brushed plastic... no creaks groans or snapping plastic parts.
 
I have only one complain with primo case from phanteks and it's the bottom of the case, maybe some wheels?, the case is sooo close to the floor that the intake air from the bottom is not the best it could be, i've needed to make a whole in an ikea tiny table to elevate the case with access to the air in the bottom side of the case.

IMO it screams cheap tat. But we all make mistakes.

Thanks for the input all. I am loving the look of the Phanteks Evolv but the all metal LianLi is calling me. I don't have any HDDs or optically in my main rig anymore. But bigger is better right!!
