Hi!

I've recently purchesed a laptop (Vortex IV 17.3" from ************) and have been amazed at the power that you can get from a laptop... But I've also had a couple of major issues.

1. I cannot get Nvidia Surround to work and so I cannot run my screen setup while at my desk. (3x1080P portrait at 3240x1920 + an auxiliary screen).

2. The laptop's screen itself is a TN and I can't stand it. I've grown to like IPS just too damn much.

So I ask of all you laptop guys out there: does the following exist, and if so, where could I get hold of it?

Needs to have:

- High performance CPU - 4910MQ seems to be quite capable (when plugged in).

- High performance GPU - It has an 880M and from what I've seen so far it's a damn good GPU, but I've not been able to test it at 3240x1920.

- 16GB or 32GB - or the ability to increase to 32GB of RAM later on.

- Minimum of TWO 2.5" HDD slots 9.5mm high.

- At least ONE mSATA slot.

- MUST be able to run four displays at once, three in an Nvidia Surround or AMD Eyefinity setup at 3240x1920 (3x1080P) and one auxiliary display through HDMI to output sound to my AVR. It doesn't need to be able to power its own screen in this situation.

- Its own screen must be a minimum of 1080P - not really sure if I want a 3k+ display on a laptop, but it could be interesting.

- Its own screen must be IPS or an unbelievably good TN panel - or another panel type that is very close to IPS in terms of colour accuracy and viewing angles - also no glossy screens.

- The ability to keep itself cool enough to not thermally throttle too much while also not being too loud. This laptop gets quite noisy when gaming or doing other CPU and/or GPU intensive tasks.

- Probably a 17" display would be best, but more is most likely not going to be a problem. If all of the above exists with less than a 17" display, then holy crap, but sure!

- Good enough build quality - I'd read about people not being too impressed with the Clevo cases that PC Specialist use, but I'm more than happy with the build quality of the Vortex IV that I have.

I've been recommended to look at TitanUS computers but I have asked them a few questions and they haven't responded yet. I guess if I were to go on that sort of route, is there a laptop that is solely made from desktop parts rather than a desktop CPU and a laptop GPU? That would probably work best for me - assuming it's not so ridiculously bulky that it may as well be a desktop (which it probably would be).

Thanks for any help and good luck finding something to cater to my needs!
