high-end gaming laptop

Hi,

I'm looking for a high-end gaming laptop. The requirements otherwise are that it should be:

- good looking (don't want a spaceship)
- app. 15"
- not overheat
- as quite as possible
- as slim as possible

So far I have found Aorus x5 v6 and the new Alienware 15" which looks as the best compromise on all my requirements, but I would really want to know what you guys think and if you have other laptops I should take a look at.

I have the Asus GL502VS with a 1070 GTX and it's very slim. Doesn't seem to overheat at all and the fans do not get that loud - In fact I've never seen the GPU get over 80oc.

Wanted one sooner or later so went for the Asus - couldn't wait for the Aorus or Alienware ones.

That's the one - looks orange in those pics but it's actually red

Do some research on the customer services of the brands you are considering. You never know when you may need to contact them. It's always bad to find poor service after purchasing.

Asus is a rip off compared to other brands, they always offer lower spec for higher prices

In some respects it all depends on usage and budget. You may want to have a look at the GE62VR 6RF Apache Pro. There is a pretty indepth review and also info on thermal performance and acoustic levels.
