High end keyboard with trackpad for sofa/tv use?

At the moment I use a microsoft all in one keyboard and mouse.

I'd love something high end though, but can't seem to find anything?

I don't use it to game (obviously), just for general use as I have my PC connected to my TV so sit on the sofa.

Something backlit and proper build quality would be nice but does it exist?!

Microsoft media keyboard was my choice altho I hate it with a passion. Just feels cheap and nasty but nothing at a similar price point.

Yeah as you say there wasn't much else to choose from.

I did try Logitech's K400 but that felt even worse than the Microsoft one. Cheap loose clicky keys, and terrible trackpad.

The media keyboard does everything it needs to but I would love something backlit and with a premium feel.

Even at around £100 I can't see anything at all

There are these couchmasters but they're a bit cumbersome:

I ended up moving to a remote control.

Yeah those couchmasters would be inconvinent for me to use. I tend to leave the keyboard on the coffee table and use it on my lap depending what I'm doing.

What remote control are you using? Do you tend to just use your pc for media then if you're using a remote?
