Hi Guys,

Wouldn't call myself a gamer, but I do a lot of CAD and Photoshop work for my job. I need some advice on laptops that have the capacity to deal with big programs.

I have a budget of around £1500 - for this i want a laptop that is as THIN and LIGHT as possible. Screen size doesn't matter, but it needs to be easy to get out in meetings and show people my fancy graphics, so this is fairly key.

Doesnt need to be touchscreen, should be windows 10, NOT A MAC DAMMIT, too many designers i know use macs and i am not a fan. It needs to have a decent capacity in terms of RAM and Processor to cope with large CAD programs quickly.

So far I have looked at HP Spectres - i7 versions (thinner then air) and the new Surface book from microsoft, but i wanted to see if you experts knew of anything worth looking in to.

thanks in advance

Hi bt101

MSI do a range of Mobile Workstation and we may have one that fits your requirements.

Rather than using GTX Graphics, we can supply with Nvidia Quadro, so maybe worthwhile checking with the software vendor to establish the recommended hardware for your software.

OcUK can supply these starting from around £1,299
