A friend wants to build himself a bit of a monster rig to game with on triple screens at the highest settings, I've tried to convince him that there is better bang for the buck deals out there but he's a young lad with money to burn, so lets indulge him 
I'm a little out of the loop (a year or so) since I was checking all the best components, so wondered if you guys would cast your eye over this spec and give any advice. He will be looking to OC the whole rig.

RAM : Samsung Green 16Gb (4 x 4Gb) - £113.99

PSU : XFX 1000W Black edition Pro modular - £209.99
GFX : 2 x Palit GTX 680 Jetstream 2048Mb - £959.98
HD1 : Crucial SSD M4 512gb - £461.99

As you can see this comes to a pretty penny.
I advised a decent Mobo to get good spacings on the x16 PCIe slots, for better airflow to the GPUs. He started with the Asus Rampage IV Formula but just swapped it to the extreme, I think because the extreme has 8 RAM slots so using 4 modules doesnt affect the OC (or so he read)
The Samsung green ram I had not heard of, but the reviews on here say they are very good overclockers.
So, any other advice/opinions?
