cheers,

First of all, thank you for all the replies!

This computer is not for me, it is for a friend from work that needs some help.

Now the answers:

He wants a Quad Core because he wants to be future proof.
We are not looking at overclocking, really. It is quite simple. He doesn’t understand a great deal of it and it can be quite messy if you do not know what you are doing.
About the PSU. Why the Corsair if its rated 620W instead of the 650W from Antec I have chosen. And if I am going to go for a more expensive brand why not Tagan instead?
About the motherboard and SLI, yes you were right! :o) We were planning to do some SLI action. If you say it’s not worth it might be good to move onto one on the new P35 mobos.
Is it really necessary to change the memory if we are not OC?

Cheers,

From Jaffa, yours is DDR2 only. Would it be a good idea to have 4Gigs in two sticks and then upgrade to DDR3? I have seen a few benchies and DDR3 didnt seem worthwhile.

Also that Akasa case is very good but requires to spend some extra money on fans.
