Hello.

I'm currently running a ek block on my gtx 480 and getting pretty high temps 39 load and would easily hit 80c under 1 min on full load, i'm not 100% what the issue is and before i rip my loop apart i would like to get some opinions first.

Currently loop is:
Ek supreme full nickel HF cooling a x6 1055t
gtx 480 ek full cover block
120mm TFC radiator
120.3 thermochill radiator
EK 4.0 pump
x2 90 degree fittings.

I think the possible issue is that i have the inlet for the gpu on the underside & outlet at the top of the block as seen in this poorly drawn image, can anyone confirm this would cause high tempetures?

wouldnt have thought so

you taken the card apart to ensure that you are getting good core contact?

Glad you got it sorted, had i seen this sooner that's what i would have suggested as that's the same loop order i have mine and it never goes over 60c even with an overclock

Ran out of thermal paste :o But the card hasn't gone above 65c yet on load and still have to bleed my loops so i'll keep it like this for now.
Thanks everyone for all of your help!
