High heels are also good if you are short like me, I wear heels a lot during the day. If I wear flats people suddenly seem to notice how short I am! As much as I love my heels though they have to be comfortable, if they aren't comfortable enough to be worn all day then they don't get bought. I do love my thigh highs but they aren't for outdoor wear :p

I don't think they're mean't to be comfortable, they're just extreme. I'd imagine most people who wear them aren't on their feet when they have them on either ;)

However, there seem to be some people, probably ballet trained who are able to walk in them for longer periods. And thank the lord for that!
 
Funny thing is though, why is there this taboo that exists when it comes to the likes of Barbie and men in general wearing high heels? Being the heel lover that I am I watched Kinky Boots when it was on the BBC the other night, I had no idea that it was about a drag queen but still enjoyed it without prejudice.
