I've been told I need high load tyres for my A6, so I'm just looking at tyres on mytyres, black circles etc.. but can't seem to find any indication of whether the tyres are high load or not.

I need 245/40 R18 Y/W/Z, is it safe to assume that all tyres at this size will be high load or is there another way to tell?

Cheers,
Mick.

Ah right,

So "EAGLE F1 GS-D3 245/40 R18 93Y BSW" isn't upto the job, damn. Looks like I might be trying the new EAGLE F1 Asymmetric then. £600 a set + fitting

Mick.

Can't be that much surely - I'm trying to get a set of tyres at the moment for 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 and it's around the £550 mark with the rears making the bulk of the cost.

The new Asymmetric F1s are £145.80 each from mytyres in my size. So £583.20 + fitting. Might have a look at some of the other brands.
