Hi
Well I have begun overclocking my phenom 9550x4. Not bad wee proccesor, stock is 2.2 and i have it now at 2.388 ( small oc i know) but the reason i dont want to go further is my chipset temperatures.
CPUID is reading TIMPIN2 ( which i think is the northbridge) at between 47 and 57 (ambient of 23 atm, but thats really warm for my room ), it was a lot higher , high sixties until i moved an 80mm fan over the top of it.
I have a 780g northbridge of a foxconn A7VMX board.
what I am wondering is if those temperatures are too high for the chipset as I cant find anything from AMD about how hot they can run. Furthermore is there anyway to adjust the overclock to cool the northbridge.

Thanks

i get the same sort of temps on my NB and i have an Antec spot fan focused on it, temps are fine.
