High performance laptop £900

Hi, I'm looking to buy a high performance laptop for about £900... i7-6700 processor, 16gb RAM, with an SSD and hard drive, 15.6" screen and includes a numeric keypad and optical drive (I'd miss them if i didn't have them!).

I've landed at two options:
Asus N552vw-fy094t
PC Specialist Optimus VII Ultra Mk2

I know nothing about PCS, but reviews seem to be good.

The differences I can see are: 3xUSB3, 1xUSB3.1 vs 4xUSB3, 0xUSB3.1, SATA III vs SATA II hard drive, DDR4 vs DDR3 RAM. I'm assuming this makes the Optimus lower spec... but it does have double the size SSD, and I'm not sure if the Asus' screen is IPS.

Does anyone have any advice please?

Video editing, a bit of gaming and general use that won't drive me mad by being slow at all. Also, as future-proof as possible.
