Hi guys,

Basically I need to upgrade from my crappy dir615 that VM gave my family when we got 50mb broadband.

In my house we have 2 PC's that use heavy traffic, 1 xbox, 1 ipad and 2 laptops that connect to my router.

I have looked around and it looks like the linksys e4200 is a decent router that provides fast speeds and good signal quality even at long distances.

But the problem is the price, is there any other router that provides roughly the same performance but a better price? I need bang for buck.

I heard that all the 50MB users are going to be upgraded to 100MB free of charge by VM so I need a router that will be able to cope with the speed, bandwidth and all the devices with good signal quality.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

First of all just stick dd-wrt onto your existing router and see if that makes a difference before you go spending any money

see what router version you have as I don't know.

Already got that on there. Did not make much of a difference, I dont have to reboot it as much thats about it, before I had to reboot every few days.

I just need a new router mate trust me lol.

I dont want to have to put it on the next router, Dont have the time anymore to be messing with it just need somthing that works and is quick.

Seems to me like its between the N56 or wait for the N66, what do you reckon?
