High pitched noise on a samsung tv

Hi all,

today I noticed a high pitched noise on my samsung ue55-mu700

it sounds like it is coming from the insides of the tv. Just played around with settings but did not help.

what could be causing this and how can it be resolved?

less than 2 years.

it has been a decent tv so far.

perhaps I am being overly paranoid, if I put my ear next to the TV I can hear it even when on standby but sitting down in the room I can barely hear the high pitched noise.

I think I need a 2nd opinion on the matter though, as I have suffered from Tinnitus in the past and these power tools I use around the home don't help my hearing.

Actually the noise is still there

it is actually started the moment the tv is on standby mode. When you turn the tv on it is still making the noise.

i have recently installed a soundbar below the tv a samsung one, and wonder what impact that has had

the noise is very irritating i’m prob going to ring samsung up about this.
