high quality dvd ripping software needed?

Hi, I am planning on ripping all of my dvd collection and storing it on my medai server, what i want to do is keep it as high quality as possible, i don't really want to convert it to divx, is there any good software that will work on vista prem 64bit, take advantage of dual core's and will convert a dvd into a single VOB file?.

yeh true, not going to encode although may dabble in it a little later but mainly want to rip the dvd into a single VOB file.

sorry guys i should have told you exactly what i want to do, I am currently running Orb 2.0 on my media server and accessing the media files through the Xbox 360 (not logging into media center on it though), the reason i want 1 VOB file is that the xbox does nto recognize a dvd folder but will play a single vob file, also im not sure it recognises ifo files.

will this mymovies.dk work like this, does it automatically mount the iso?
