At the end of school, I barely had anything to show for it, only a poorly soldered rice scoop I made in metalwork in year one.
He used a 4K OLED panel, custom keyboard, milled chassis, non-i86/X64/Snapdragon cpu, etc.
I’d love to do something like this because it looks like fun but 1) it’s expensive since the chassis is milled aluminium and he had access to a ton of advanced equipment and 2) I’m not smart enough to do the coding and advanced troubleshooting that he had to do to get everything to talk to each other.
It would be cool to get a small OLED panel to add to the side of a full ATX chassis and use some of his research work to turn it into a bit of a feature point of the computer.
