High Spec PC

Hi, how do i define a high spec pc, im doing/making a presentation, and i need to describe a high spec pc, now i would be able to tell a high spec pc from a noob pc, but how do i describe this to the sort of people that buy dells and laptops!

High specification to do what? A gaming PC you might say it is one that can maintain above say 60fps with settings maxed on recent games but for a PC to do 3D rendering the graphics card is paradoxically less important overall compared to CPU power.

If you wanted a rough approximation of the specification that I'd consider high for gaming at the moment then I could give you that but it'd make for pretty dry reading.

Not entirely definitive but I'd suggest this is roughly where high end starts, before it gets into the law of seriously diminishing returns. I've left out the keyboard, mouse and speakers as they are mainly personal preference.
