Most cases on the market have fans in the front of the case to suck air in. But how far can a Corsair HD120mm RGB High static pressure fan suck air into a case, if the fan is not at the front/bottom? As you know I have T900 case and my fans a in the middle so the distance is 25cm from the bottom to the fan to draw air into the case is that too much distance for a fan?

Here is an image of what I am talk about

As long as you have a fan pulling outside air into the case in some way you will be fine. I have 1x fan on the front of my case and that serves fine with my idle temps of 27oc and this is a 3 year old PC now. With a Corsair H100i.

I have 4 side panel fans but they are not connected anymore and the noise bugged me and the temp difference in minimal, not really noticeable even in stats.

I wish they tell you how much distance a fan can draw air in to a case but there is no information on that part

I want to go with AIO but worried if they leak, the same for water cooling looks nice but I have no experience to built it I have seen some starter kits but I don't want to take everything apart and clean it every year, so I can only have a 280/360 AIO in the centre of the tower 900 case, or a 120 at the top.

Thanks

I have a H100i and have recently installed a H100i V2 in my dads PC i built.

Mine has been running 3 years+ and my dads 3 months+ and no issues at all. They rarely leek and the tubes are thick and secured nicely to the radiator and heat sink. So unless you get a sharp knife and literally try and cut through the pipe it won't generally leak. I've never been nervous about installing them and have never had an issue, I couldn't recommend the hybrid water coolers more.

As long as you have some outside air being pulled into the PC case, the fans on the CPU cooler (hybrid or air) will pull that new cool air onto the CPU. Just get a case fan of the biggest size that you can fit on the front. Usually a 240 or 360 i believe.
