High street brand, or Own brand

What do you prefer to buy in terms of food, like Tesco, Sainsburys?

Personally, i would buy any brand, more towards the cheaper brands cause it tastes the same in some things.

depends somethings you can taste the diffrence some you can't.
eg.
Tune = tesco's value...
Coke = real thing or pepsi.

It depends entirely on the actual product. Morrison's own brand ham is great, but I wouldn't buy their peanuts. But then Asda own ham isn't great but their peanuts are lovely. It's not possible to just say one or the other IMO.

I am about to move to Ipswich after living with my parents for 21 years and I am wondering about food bills and have concluded that I will buy what is within my budget.

But as Lopez has already said it really does depend on the product I am buying.
