High temperatures?

Basically been getting bsod on my build, I am using stock cooling on stock settings, I got a cpu clock interrupt bsod, and am really concerned what it is .

Presumably these are at idle? 59 degC is a bit hot if thats the case. i7 920 D0 idling at 35-38 degC at idle here @4Ghz. Try stressing the CPU and see what temperatures rise to.

I just started pi up and it got into the high 80s, and turned it off quickly. What could be wrong?
Badly seated heastink or thermal paste?
 
More than likely, you should be using a pea sized blob of paste.

Or if it came pre-applied, then just re-mount it, and give it a small side to side wiggle/turn.

and stock intel cooler...:(

Get a proper HSF for example this is about as cheap as they come and some Arctic Silver TIM. It'll run cooler and quiter than Intel stock fan.
