This is the first time that this has happened.

I have just been playing CSGO and suddenly my PC sounded as if the fans were all going at max RPM, which is the first time it's happened.

RealTemp shows the CPU being at 40-50 where as MSI AB shows it being around 80.

The only change is now I use dual monitors, could this be a factor?

Thanks.

Can you provide more detailed information about the system specs and possibly some screenshots of the "measurements" you are taking. Generally CS:GO is very cpu intensive and likes multiple cores loading them all heavily. It is one of the games I play that gets the highest system temperatures overall.

If the voltage is at auto I will not be surprised if it decides to go up than normal for nor reason. Try setting it with offset to say +/-0.005 or whatever your minimal step is. Those temperatures might seem high but are not in the dangerous zone by any means.
