FIXED, Thanks A Lot.
Now at:

Hello, I purchased my PC as a custom build 3-4 months ago and recently downloaded "SpeedFan" to see my CPU tempreature at around 80C.

I currently have a Q6600 CPU on a Asus P5N-MX motherboard.

Fans are running at 100%, which leads me to think I may need a new CPU Heatsink, although I do not know too much about computers.

Any advice on what to do or to buy. Pretty sure it's a 775 Socket.

Regards

Download Realtemp or Coretemp. Those 2 programs are usually better than Speedfan. Speedfan doesn't work well at all for me.

Dl those progs and tell us what they tell you. ;)

Because nearly 80 degrees with such a low vcore has got to be either incorrect, or you've got a problem.

If the temps are real, you have either got crap air flow in your case or the heatsink needs to be reinstalled with some proper thermal paste :)

Looking at the other temps recorder there (assuming they are correct of course) your GPU and 'system' look pretty good, so prob airflow isn't too bad and I'd err on the side of the CPU cooler not being correctly installed as even a stock cooler should be doing better than that.

So I'd take the CPU cooler off, clean and reapply thermal paste then reseat the cooler and make sure it's sitting tightly, then retest - I suspect you'll see a big improvement.
