High temps even after lapping

The above are my idle temps. Bit high yes? 20C higher than they should be? At full load they reach 70C. I have even lapped the CPU and heatsink (Noctua NH-U12F with Sharkoon 1000), which gave a 5C decrease in idle temps. I use Arctic Silver 5. My room temperature is 21C.

I have one Sharkoon 2000 120mm for inflow and two 80mm fans for outflow. My 8800GTX blocks air flow from between it and the HDD racks, but theres still an adequate gap between the 8800 and side panel. My case is the Coolermaster Praetorian by the way (my front panel is open).

So any ideas?

Well that's a bit of a relief. How much more should the temps drop once the AS5 settles?
Also, CPU-z shows the Core Voltage as 1.344v (which decreases a little on full load), yet in the BIOS I have set it to 1.415v. What gives? :S

I only ask as I have a Q6600 also and upto 3Ghz o/clock on stock volts (1.22 I think).
Is this the norm for most people?

Also, since there is quite a vdroop, should I be considering the vcore in the BIOS or Windows when optimising the FSB/voltage?

Alright, but I seem to get BSODs while stress testing if my vcore is too low.

Geh, this is quite the ****take :p I just reapplied thermal paste thinking I didn't put on enough last time, but the temps are actually higher now.

Pretty good. I managed to bring mine up to 3.4Ghz Primestable on 1.425v in BIOS (which is 1.31v in Windows). Load temps in mid 60s.
