High temps for GTX 770 Windforce

Hi folks,

I was just wondering what sort of temps people were getting for the windforce edition of this card. I was just playing some WoT and looked at report for GPUZ.

My readings seems unusually high for this card at 78 degrees and 61% fan speed??!! Just came from a reference GTX580 and I remember the same sort of readings for that also. Surely this has better cooling though... am I just being paranoid??

edit: running 320.18 drivers, which looks like it could be the problem. As far as I know there are no others drivers for the GTX770?

Don't forget to list what ambient temps have been. Last weekend was quite warm in the UK.

It may be the drivers but the temps aren't atrocious. a lot of reviews show conflicting info though, techpowerup have the card running at 72 max while others show it being cooler. There can be some variance between cards too.

The high fan speed is normal for the windforce

Im thinking maybe I should have gone for the MSI now, I much prefer noise to a minimum. Maybe I'll experiment in some fan profile software to reduce the fans speed a little more, although I've never done that sort of thing before.
