I've got my i3 2120 up and running today. However Hardware monitor reports CPUTIN as 92 degrees celcius and AUXTIN as 68 degrees celcius. ON my i5 machine, those readings are low about 28C and about 60C respectively. I have checked and refitted the stock cooler, also tried the i5 stock cooler which was better but still the same.
I have also updated the BIOS but it didn't help.

Is there any explanation to this?

1) If the cooler is acting as passive (i.e. the fan is broken or not getting juice). Check visually if it is spinning.
2) No good contact between the CPU heat spreader and the cooler. Get some paste in case (recommend MX-4). Altohugh temps will be hot but not that hot.
3) wrong temps reported by the software. What is it?

Check in the BIOS first for fan speeds and temps.

1 - It spins accordingly
2 - I have checked and refitted 3x already
3 - I use HW Monitor, I really don't know what is "CPUTIN" and "AUXTIN"

Real Temp result is ok, also downloaded Speedfan and it's reporting high CPU and AUX temp just like HW Monitor. Also tried OCCT with same results. I don't really know where is the fault. The computer seems to be running fine and I have run 10 runs of IBT and more than 16 hours of Prime95 without problem.
