High temps?

Hi all :)

I have the following setup:

4770k @ 4.6 & 2x7950s /w EKWB blocks on a Maximus VI Formula on a custom loop with D5 dual bay (set to 3), 360 & 240 rads. The loop is res/pump-360-nb-cpu-gpu-gpu-240.

I'm seeing core temps low to mid 50's, up to 65 on load and water temp of 43-44.

Are these high and should I be happy with them?

low to mid 50s on idle?

I'm currently getting 39 idle and 60 load with a 3820 and 2 x 7970s for reference but i have another 360mm on top of your rads. So in comparison I'd say it seems about right.
 
What radiators and fans/speeds have you got? Seems pretty high delta T assuming your room temp is no more than 25degC.
 
Rads are XSPC EX rads so only 35mm thick. Ambient temp is about 27. Fans (GTs) are running at 900rpm to keep it quiet.

May try putting them up to 1100 but it's hard to get a fixed speed on the FC5V3 :confused:
 
Those mid 50s temps aren't on idle btw, they're with about 15-25% load. Idle temps are about 46.

I've upped the fans to 1200 (still pretty damn quiet :)) so I'll see if those temps come down.
 
Idle does seem kinda high, what vcore and TIM are you using? I'm running practically the exact same loop and idle is 27-30c. But seeing as your load temps are 65c then its perfectly good!
 
Switched off the heating in the room, ambient temp dropped to about 22c, fans set to 1100rpm and now seeing idle temps of 32c up to 55c on load :)
