High Vcore Low Temps

High Vcore Low Temps.......is it okay to have your Vcore at like 1.4-1.5v if you temps are low?

On your E8500 ? Should be fine bud, what temps are we talking about ?

A lot of people say that 45nm chips will degrade and the frequency will go down if you put more than 1.4/1.45V through them.

If I had a 45nm chip, I wouldn't be happy putting more than about 1.4V through it.

It seems like you can safely go +.25V on Intel CPU's

i get 35*c on idle...46*c at load....my overclock is not 24/7 stable as it fails on prime95 but i can use pc to play games etc if i can play the games for 1+ hours not sure yet... was thinking maybe i could increase Vcore a bit to make overclock more stable...i am at 1.4v at the mo but 1.375 in CPU-Z
