High voltage 6600k?

Just installed 6600k On a GAz170HD3P and I have a voltage of CPU Core voltage of 1.6..

This is high as hell. Go to bios and set voltage manually to 1.15-1.20v on core, such of voltage will degrade cpu quickly.

Yeah, just did that but its still showing 1.6 in Cpuz/hwmonitor :|

Start from updating bios, then drivers etc.

It could be a glitch but I would try to fix it, just in case.

What does the voltage show in the BIOS?

1.2, i think its most likely fine but I cant do anything without fixing this

how strange, i think my windows install went a bit off vcore is just above 1.0 now all good cant wait to try the new chip

What board? Use Latest AIDA to monitor vcore

That seems to me like a reporting glitch, if it's that low in the BIOS I wouldn't worry about it, especially if the temperatures seem reasonable.
