High water cooling temps

Whats the ambient temperature in the room, a watercooling system will only keep the temperature of your components cool comparative to the ambient temps.

at best about 18c pretty nippy in here with weans leaving front door open

That does seem odd. My phenom II and HD6970 are presently cooled with only a single EX240 radiator. My ambient temperatures are nearly 25c and my load temperatures are mid-high 50's. I'm using two mediocre mismatched fans too. Once I get some AP-15's and add a 120mm rad i'm hoping to see those temps drop by another 5c or so.

Complete long shot, but as the RASA CPU block has specific In/Out ports, you don't have the flow going backwards through the CPU block do you?

Did you run the pump on it's own or did you run it through the loop to check pressure and flow ? On it's own the pump may be OK but if there's a blockage in a rad/fitting then the having a good pump will not help.

If you did test it through the loop and the flow is fine then I'm running out of ideas.
