Just trying to get the most out of my laptop for gaming.

Will I benefit from my current 4.1GHz four core or something more like 4.3 for single core and two to tree cores 4.2?

Will there be any noticeable performance from 200Mhz ?

You would struggle to notice even if you stare at the fps monitor

It's less than 5% boost, so <5% is the absolute best you could hope for, likely to be less.

So 4.1 probably best then given to get 4.3 even on one core I'd have to bring voltage closer to default therefore increasing Temps.

Either way isn't going to make a huge difference tbh. I'd lower temps, less chance of it throttling during longer gaming sessions particularly during summer months.

too small a difference to worth bothering with unless your aim was benchmarks, especially not worth it on a laptop as they tend to get very hot when gaming

We are approaching the multi thread dream but to be honest, we are still climbing the mountain.

As of right now, fastest single core is still king but we are nearing the summit.
