So im looking at getting a 2.1 system for my pc to listen to music on (Not very many movies or games as I have a headset for that). Been looking around but Im not really finding much a lot of bass heavy. I want a nice balanced system that can do me a good bass and highs or whatever you call them (I really dont know what im talking about) Thanks for any help

You want it for music and you want it to be balanced and not overly bass heavy sounds like you should go for 2.0 tbh. What's your budget?

Depending people can recommend you from there.

Hmm, Dont really have a budget, Preferably the £170 area unless it really pays for that extra then It could be possible to push up to the £200 area.
I tend to listen to a lot of electronic music, Prog trance and Future garage mainly not particularly bassy stuff but I want the option there to wack the bass up for those certain songs. I definalty want the .1 for the sub.

Edit: I should add that I have heard a lot of good things about the Klipsch Promedia 2.1's.

You can still get decent bass from 2.0 but it's up to you. The Acoustic Energy Aegos are meant to be good, anything by Microlab will also be good.

No experience of the creatives, the corsairs IMO while good for gaming aren't that great for music, some people say they are great with music but thats not been my experience. The edifiers should be decent but while I like my edifiers a lot they aren't the best speakers for trance/garage (they tend to have very neutral/balanced characteristics and while you can tweak them well to suit taste with most music types they lack "character" with trance type music IMO) - microlabs probably have a better synergy so to speak with that kind of music.

I would probably give these some consideration http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SP-008-ML&groupid=702&catid=22&subcat=719 tho the frequency doesn't go down as low as I'd like they have a very solid presence.

Good suggestion from Rroff, I had the 6Cs and they produced plenty of bass the 7Cs will be better no doubt.

I'm still happy with my harmon kardom soundsticks.

i had the number 2 version, LOVED THEM, but for some reason after very carefully taking them apart to get all the hair out of them they refused to work after screwing back together :(
