I have 32GB Ram with two XMP profiles, one 2133 @11,12,11 and the other at 1600 @9,9,9.

Simple question..which would be the preferable XMP profile to use?

People generally go with the higher bus speed.

In most real world situations you probably won't be able to tell the difference between them. Theoretically the higher bus speed, slower timings would favor longer processing tasks like file compression, media encoding, etc. and tighter timings favor more time sensitive stuff like gaming and general OS tasks but in reality not sure anyone would be able to tell the difference in actual useage. (I've not actually run the numbers to see if theres any bandwidth difference between those 2 in terms of throughput - same bandwidth with tighter timings would be better than same bandwidth with slower timings).
